Unable to Invest, “Closed for retail Investors” , What does this mean?

Modified on Tue, 10 Dec at 11:13 PM

In crowdfunding, businesses can raise funds from retail investors up to a maximum of 50 million baht, as regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

If you are a retail investor and the system notifies you that “Retail investor limit reached,” it means the company offering the securities has already received the maximum amount allowed from retail investors. From this point onward, the company can only accept investments from “high-net-worth investors, ultra-high-net-worth investors, or specific investors.”

To invest without funding limitations, eligible investors meeting the SEC’s criteria can request to upgrade their status to “high-net-worth investors, ultra-high-net-worth investors, or specific investors,” allowing unlimited investment opportunities.
